Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple has been a key attraction in Singapore’s Little India which is found in 141

Serangoon Road, Little India, Singapore. A 14 handed Goddess Kali is the main deity and the main

attraction of the temple who is also known as Goddess Veeramakaliamman or Goddess Shakthi. She

represents power and change in Hindu scriptures.

Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple

Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple was built in 1855 at Serangoon Road, in the heart of Singapore’s Little

India which has been built in the Dravidian (South Indian) style of temple architecture, One can find out

At the main prayer hall of the Sri Senpaga Vinayagar Temple, there are 4 main granite pillars and each

having 8 sculptures of Lord Vinayagar (Ganapati) in his different avatars. This temple is located at 19

Ceylon Road, Singapore. Sri Senpaga Vinayagar Temple was built in 1850s. And the main Deities of this

temple are - Lord Ganesha,Vinayagar, Vinayaka, Ganpati.

Sree Maha Mariamman Temple

Sree Maha Mariamman Temple has an impressive golden roof with three domes/towers (“Vimanams”).

The golden roof has statues of Goddess Sree Maha Mariamman which is the main attraction of this

temple. Sree Maha Mariamman Temple has been placed at 251 Yishun Avenue 3, Singapore and the

Goddess Mari (a form of Durga) is the Presiding Deity.The perimeter wall of the temple has sculptures

Sri Krishnan Temple

Sri Krishnan Temple has been beautified with the statues and carvings both on the outside and the inside

of the temple. The temple was founded in 1870, when a statue of Lord Krishna was placed under a

banyan tree on Waterloo Street. This temple is found in 152 Waterloo Street, Singapore. And Lord

Krishna and Rukmini are the main God and Goddess.

Sri Shivan Temple

If you want to visit a unique octagonal designed temple in Singapore it should be Sri Shivan Temple.. The

main festivals celebrated at Sri Sivan Temple are Maha Shivaratri, Navratri, Guru Peryarchi and Skantha

Shasti. Sri Sivan Temple was originally built at Potong Pasir in 1850 and it opens at 6 in the morning and

Sri Thendayuthapani Temple

The six faced Lord Subramanian (Lord Murugan), the son of Lord Shiva and the brother of Lord Ganesh

is the main deity of the Sri Thendayuthapani Temple. The temple is also called the Subramaniam Temple

and Chettiars’ Temple. Thaipusam, which is celebrated on the full moon day in January/February, is the

main festival of Sri Thendayuthapani Temple.

Sri Vairavimada Kaliamman

Over the last one century the old Sri Vairavimada Kaliamman Temple has been relocated in three times.

It has been at Toa Payoh now since 1986. Sri Vairavimada Kaliamman Temple is open from 7:00 am to

noon and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. And the superior Deities of this temple are - Godess Kali, Lord Vinyagar,

Lord Murugan, Valli, Deivanai.

Sri Ruthra Kaliamman Temple

The Sri Ruthra Kaliamman Temple is located at 100 Depot Road, Singapore

and it has an impressive blue Gopuram. In addition to pray Kaliamman (the main Goddess Kali), other

deities are also been worshipped namely - Sri Ruthra Kaliamman Temple are Sri Vinayagar, Sri

Subramaniar, Sri Muneeswaran, Navagrahas, Sri Kaleeswarar, Sri Mangalambigai, Sri
